My name is Jamie Weiland, I am located out of the Tulsa, Oklahoma metro area and have lived in Oklahoma since 2011. I am a wife and mother of two and love animals.

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, with an emphasis on Childhood and Adolescence and a minor in Justice Studies in 2015. I went on to get my Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, LPC track, from Langston University in Tulsa, OK in 2017.

I gained much of my experience as a direct care worker for both the Tulsa Boys' Home and Shadow Mountain before starting my own practice and joining a group practice. I was a residential youth care worker for the DHS program at TBH and a residential youth care worker for the adolescent acute unit and childrens residential unit at Shadow Mountain. I returned to the Boys' Home as the Intake Counselor for the Substance Abuse Treatment Program before becoming the therapist for two different DHS lodges.

I've also had experience working with OKDRS for vocational rehabilitation and neurofeedback with a local organization.

I opened the doors of my private practice, Counseling In Green Country, in 2020. I also joined the group practice Sassin & Associates in 2020, where I went on to become Clinical Director.

Additional trainings and certifications include Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, EMDR and EFT (tapping). I love to include art, music, movement, games, and other elements to create a safe, encouraging, and comfortable enviroment for clients of all ages.
